Guidance Counselor Lillian Hernandez
I started my career teaching seventh grade Spanish and moved on to teach all
subjects to second graders in a parochial school. I also provided behavioral
therapy for pre-school autistic children. After several years of working with
small children I began working with the NYC DOE teaching math to ninth and tenth
grade students with special needs as well as English Language Learners.
I believe that everyone possesses special gifts and my goal is to be able to
help our students discover those gifts which will allow them to succeed
academically. I look forward to helping our children grow.
